The ideal candidate will possess asbestos contractor supervisor training/accreditation, asbestos inspector training/accreditation, and also will possess NIOSH 582 training/certification for asbestos air sample analysis (Phase Contrast Microscopy using NIOSH Method 7400).
We need someone who is willing to manage a project with multiple air monitoring technicians working on asbestos and lead projects, including asbestos bulk sampling work.
Prior to employment, candidates must possess the following:
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- NIOSH 582 training and certificate, & demonstrated proficiency in asbestos air sample analysis.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor accreditation & training.
- Current Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality Asbestos Inspector accreditation & training.
Candidates who possess the following have a tremendous advantage:
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
- GSHO card (OSHA card)
- ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Site Specific orientation
Candidates must be: self-starting team players with management experience, able to get along with others, drug free, reliable, disciplined, and eager to learn. Candidates must possess good handwritten & communication skills. Candidates must be willing to work some nights and weekends, and be flexible with changing work schedule.
Computer/tablet skills are a plus.

Ability to pass a drug screen, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma are required. Strong interpersonal communication skills highly desired.
