Wynn L. White Consulting Engineers, Inc.
Wynn started the firm in 1987 in Alexandria, Louisiana
Environmental Consulting
Along the way, we started to provide other environmental consulting services, such as lead air monitoring, lead training, and Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA).
We’ve provided engineering, environmental consulting, and training services for schools, hospitals, contractors, and local, state, and federal government clients, as well as some of the world’s largest corporations.
In 1992, Wynn moved the firm to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
We specialize in unusual environmental consulting projects.
Forensics Consulting
One of our largest projects involved detailed forensics in a multi-story hotel. The work included coordinating the project team and performing detailed field observations and measurements.
Engineering disciplines included civil, environmental and mechanical engineering; and testing and balancing personnel. The field work included wall and ceiling moisture assessment, borescope investigation of interstitial spaces, window installation investigation, cladding system evaluation, HVAC system evaluation (differential pressure, temperature and relative humidity) and mapping the data.
Team members analyzed forensic data, reviewed HVAC test and balance reports, and provided recommendations for mold remediation and correcting mold and moisture problems. Subsequent work included providing expert testimony.
Demolition Consulting
We have completed surveys to locate and identify asbestos, lead based paint, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), mercury, creosote, and identify hazardous waste materials. We incorporated that data into environmental hazard abatement and demolition design documents and assisted clients in bidding and contractor selection, as well as provided construction period services.
We have provided asbestos air monitoring, lead air monitoring, and environmental hazard abatement observation during abatement and demolition, as well as assist in waste characterization testing and analysis to verify disposal of waste and debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
