GETTING STARTED ON WORKING AT EXXONMOBIL IN BATON ROUGE

We help protect contractors and ExxonMobil personnel.
We are excited to have you join our team. Before you begin working on projects at the Baton Rouge ExxonMobil facility, there are some things you must do, and some information you’ll need. This page covers those items, and also provides directions to important landmarks associated with the ExxonMobil project.
TRAINING
You’ll need current Basic Orientation Plus Training AND ExxonMobil Refinery/Chemical/Resins-Baton Rouge courses from the Alliance Safety Council. If needed, here’s where to obtain the training:

Note: You must register online for the ExxonMobil orientation (Course Number 12EXMOBR), and to complete your registration, you’ll have to create an online user ID and password.
ExxonMobil Badge
After you get your ExxonMobil site specific training, Alliance Safety Council ID Card, and TWIC card, we’ll complete ExxonMobil paperwork and apply for your ExxonMobil Badge. We’ll arrange a time for you to pick up your badge. You’ll need to take all the materials, paperwork, and ID with you to the Badging Center.

Operating hours: 6:00 am – 11:30 am, 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday.

Once you have your badge, scan out of the Badging Center to verify your badge is working properly and go to the ExxonMobil facility. Once there, you’ll scan your badge to make sure it’s fully activated.

The parking lot at the corner of Scenic Highway and Kelvin is where our employees meet to pick up the Wynn L. White Consulting Engineers, Inc. company trucks and drive into the plant:

Remember, for work at ExxonMobil (and most petrochemical facilities), you’ll need the following:
1. Flame Resistant Clothing (Nomex) or FRC
2. Hard Hat
3. Safety Glasses

5. Ear Plugs

7. TWIC
