Asbestos Air Monitoring and Asbestos Inspection Career Opportunities

Are you interested in a career in asbestos consulting? We have career opportunities for asbestos project supervisors, asbestos inspectors, and industrial hygiene technicians. If you’re interested in asbestos air monitoring or asbestos inspection, or if you’re already working in the asbestos air monitoring or asbestos inspection fields, these career opportunities may be for you.

Experienced Asbestos Consulting Project Technician

The ideal candidate will possess asbestos contractor supervisor training/accreditation, asbestos inspector training/accreditation, and also will possess NIOSH 582 training/certification for asbestos air sample analysis (Phase Contrast Microscopy using NIOSH Method 7400).

We need someone who is willing to manage a project with multiple air monitoring technicians working on asbestos and lead projects, including asbestos bulk sampling work.

Prior to employment, candidates must possess the following:

  1. Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  2. NIOSH 582 training and certificate, & demonstrated proficiency in asbestos air sample analysis.
  3. High school diploma or GED.
  4. Current Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor accreditation & training.
  5. Current Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality Asbestos Inspector accreditation & training.

Candidates who possess the following have a tremendous advantage:

  1. Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
  2. GSHO card (OSHA card)
  3. ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Site Specific orientation

Candidates must be: self-starting team players with management experience, able to get along with others, drug free, reliable, disciplined, and eager to learn. Candidates must possess good handwritten & communication skills. Candidates must be willing to work some nights and weekends, and be flexible with changing work schedule.

Computer/tablet skills are a plus.

Industrial Hygiene Technician I

We are currently looking for an entry level industrial hygiene technician to join our team and support our projects in the environmental consulting industry. Ability to pass a drug screen, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma are required. Strong interpersonal communication skills highly desired.

 

Prior to employment, candidates must possess the following:

  1. Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  2. High school diploma or GED.

Candidates who possess the following have a tremendous advantage:

  1. Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
  2. GSHO card (OSHA card)
  3. ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Site Specific orientation

Candidates must be: self-starting team players, able to get along with others, drug free, reliable, disciplined, and eager to learn. Candidates must possess good handwritten & communication skills.
